Blokart Track

Blokarting, also known as land yachting, is a land based sport featuring a yacht with wheels powered by the wind. Baypark features a specially design sailing track onsite which regularly hosts Bay Blokart Club activities.

The Club gives Tauranga residents (near and far) a sailing experience, fast or slow, in relative safety right here in the heart of the Bay and the Baypark Stadium Car park.

Perfect for blokart owners that need somewhere to sail. Join the club and get an opportunity to sail with us or with family and friends or even yourselves.

Tauranga based company Blokart, which manufactures and produces land yachts became an international sensation when they featured in the opening ceremony of the 2011 Rugby World Cup at Eden Park.

The Bay Blokarting Club sail most Sundays from 1pm but their main event is the Club friendly race days on every Second Sunday of the Month, always with wind permitting of course.
