Tauranga City Venues Limited (TCVL) is a Council controlled organisation. The Board of Trustees meets monthly and reports back to Council via Council representative: Mayor Stuart Crosby.
I have experience in both New Zealand and the Pacific in strategy, construction and operation of large infrastructural projects. I am actively involved in family, personal fitness and all things marine, including scuba diving. I look forward to contributing to the governance of TCVL to achieve its goal of becoming the recognised sporting and events hub for the residents of Tauranga and the wider Bay of Plenty.

Grant Seagar (Chair)
I have lived in Mt Maunganui since 2002. I am the shareholder and Managing Director of the Hartford Capital group of companies specializing in corporate and property finance. I also hold directorships in the consumer finance and insurance industries. I have experience in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom in the establishment, financing and management of indoor sport and leisure facilities.I have been actively involved in sport all my life and look forward to assisting TCVL in providing the best possible facilities to the residents of Tauranga.John Adshead
I made NZ my home 32 years ago, then moved to the Mount in 2006. In 1982 I set up my own promotions company, which has led to my involvement in many sporting and corporate events. My expertise is in the development of sport and people. I look forward as a director of TCVL to helping develop Baypark to become one of the top venues in NZ.Tony McCartney
I have lived in the Papamoa Hills since 1996. I am the Central Regional Manager for Duffill Watts Ltd, a consulting engineering company specialising in infrastructure and development. I have previously held directorships in consulting engineering and a specialty construction safety products company.I have experience in both New Zealand and the Pacific in strategy, construction and operation of large infrastructural projects. Rex Pollock
A semi retired businessman; originally from Taranaki and I've lived in Tauranga for the past 50 years. I was the sole shareholder & director of Todd & Pollock Group of five Companies for 42 years selling three companies in 2006. Todd & Pollock were the major sponsors of Speedway for 20 years. I feel strongly about supporting the local community with recycling monies into the local schools, sports clubs, local events, youth & people. I am still active in my property developing, construction and crane hire companies. I am a life member of a couple of organisations after spending long periods on executive committees. I have a strong desire for success, always working the edge; I will strive to achieve the best results for Tauranga, its businesses, its people & its facilities.Mayor Stuart Crosby

Mayor Crosby has a strong background in Local Government. He has been an elected representative since 1986, serving as chairman on various committees and a period as Deputy Mayor. Mayor Crosby had a business background both in the electrical contracting and building industry. He now devotes all of his time to the position of Mayor both within Council and to the wider community. His vision is for a “City of all ages” based on providing for today and planning for tomorrow.
